Jenny and Greg

Been another crazy couple of weeks. The Reader's Digest version is: shot Jenny and Greg's wedding -- and it was a blast! Managed to get a week's worth of camping and canoeing in Wisconsin, came home to the storm of the century, spent another week without Internet or power! It was kind of like camping in the house. No real damage, my neighbors tree crushed a 20-foot section of my backyard fence and our girls' swing set will never be right again, but it could have been so much worse. Just now finally catching up.
To back track just a little. Jenny and Greg's wedding was great. Her father is a pastor and performed the ceremony and gave one of the most memorable sermon's I've heard to date. It was awesome, so good I had to remind myself to keep taking pictures. They are both huge baseball fans (they are working on visiting every major league ball park) and he used baseball as a metaphor for marriage and it was excellent. Jenny and Greg may look a little familiar, she's a photographer/reporter for a WQAD NewsChannel8 and Greg is the drummer for the local band Wicked Liz and the Belly Swirls. Instead of cake, they opted for an ice cream bar -- and I have to agree, it was a great choice!
They are a great couple and I was happy to shoot their wedding and hope the very best for them.
