After that, things get a little blurry with weddings, more weddings and more engagement sessions. It's been a great, busy year for us. We did have the honor of shooting Kelle & Dean's wedding at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Bettendorf, which was beautiful, so if you you're a bride who is still looking for a venue think about Pebble Creek. The food from the Black Watch Room was out of this world! Kelle & Dean's day started smoldering hot, then just as the guests sat down to eat inside the Black Watch Room, the skies filled with clouds and the rain and wind poured down. The outdoor reception area was under a tent, and for a moment it didn't look good, but Kelle & Dean, her family and the staff at the Black Watch Room pitched in together and righted tables, and got things done and went on to have a great party. The storm also gave us one of the most spectacular sunsets I've seen in a long time, and, of course, a great sunset shot!
