James & Laura Wedding

Had a great time shooting James and Laura's wedding Saturday, July 2. The ceremony was at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport, where James and Laura also teach. The ceremony was officiated by James father, who gave a great sermon that was both funny and moving.

After the ceremony we hit Schwiebert Park in Rock Island. It was nice, but the mayflies were out in abundance. The wedding party retired to the Blue Cat Brew Pub and had a few libations before heading to the reception.

The reception was at the Skelington Manor, in Rock Island.  The food was great, and the DJ kept the dance floor packed and James and Laura's friends were a blast to shoot with. James, it turns out, is somewhat a Bill Cosby fan, so the wedding party surprised him with a official Cosby sweaters and  Jello packs.
